Step 1：Ensure that the current batch has fully completed fermentation.
Step 2：Confirm that the CO₂ cylinder is securely installed and that the CO₂ adapter valve is fully opened.
Step 3：Open the clamp valve on the beer tubing.
Step 4：Pull down the tap handle to pour the beer.
Is a CO₂ cylinder required to use the machine?
A CO₂ cylinder is optional.
The F1 has a built-in air pump that lets you dispense your drink without CO₂ — just note that drinks should be consumed within 24 hours when using air-pump only.
If you prefer traditional carbonation or want longer storage, you can use a CO₂ cylinder. One cylinder carbonates up to 20 gallons of beer.
What type of CO₂ cylinder should I purchase?
The CO₂ adapter on the back of the F1 machine supports cylinders with a TR21*4 thread, such as the blue screw-in type SodaStream bottles.
